The Rappahannock Art League's 55th Annual Labor Day Show opens on Wednesday, August 31st at 10AM. The show will be open daily from 10AM until 5PM through Saturday, September 10th except for Friday, September 2nd when the show will close at 3PM and reopen from 5-7PM for a reception and awards ceremony. The show is at their gallery on main street in Kilmarnnock, Virginia. This year I will have two paintings in the show. "Life in Yellow" is an 24x30 acrylic on canvas and is a painting of the canola flowers in Heathsville, Virginia in a barn wood style frame and is for sale for $1600.

and "Tutu Bay View" which is a 24x36 inch painting on canvas of one of the beaches on St Thomas and is part of my series "Beautiful on the Edges." I chalk-painted an old frame for it which accents the colors and enhances the painting. It is for sale for $2000.
